Shin Splints

I have pain at the very front of my shins, when walking and running. Its inly very mild, but I want to know if it could be the beginning of shin splints, and whether I should rest it. Plz help!

The taping technique is excellent for taking the stress off the lower leg and allowing it to heal.

Sure sounds like it. be careful. RICE helps, proper support in shoes, no pronation etc. Stay off non-resistant surfaces for awhile.
