cracking sounds in knee

Do I need to see a doctor? I have no pain …but –I’ve recently started working out with exercise videos and both of my knees make a cracking sound during bending – there does not have to be weight on them for this to happen – sometimes I can adjust my position to stop or reduce the amount of cracking – but it makes me cringe as I am afraid I may be causing damage to my knees every time I here that awful soundAny ideas what this could be?PS. I am over 40..

hi I’m 18 years old and I have been haveing this problem for a few years now .. I always thought it was growing pains up untill I started to notice when I move my knee up and down slow I can feel and hear a cracking noise . and it hurts at times like now and lastnight do I need a doctor does anyone no what could of cause it and treat it please help
