dislocated collarbone

My son was thrown from his 4 wheeler and landed on his right shoulder.
The ER said he had a shoulder strain but the orthopedic doctor said he had a clavical dislocation.
It’s been over 2 weeks and he has alot of stiffness.
He plays baseball. Do you think he could play ball in another 2 weeks?

I was a bricklayer before a cycling accident dislocated my collarbone. I have a grade 3 separation of my AC joint, where the clavical meets the right shoulder. I have had to search for another job because after a year and a half, I am still unable to hold any weight in my right hand, Surgery is my only remaining option. I continue with Physiotherapy, but Accupuncture, massage, Reiki, ultra sounds, medication (anti Inflammatories, Kenalog injection) and Chiropractors all help, but only temporarily. I cannot return to work as a bricklayer and will never throw a ball like I used to. Tell your son to remember that trowing a ball should never hurt, and to watch a movie called the rookie with one of those Quaid fellas.
