Achilles strain
My nine year old daughter seems to have injured her achilles tendon, playing dodge ball at school.
She complains of discomfort frequently, and it’s hard to keep her from running/playing on it.
I haven’t taken her to the doctor yet, because like most other strains she’s had, they don’t really do anything for her.
Should I make her stop P.E. altogether temporarily? What are your recommendations? Thank you.

: Should I make her stop P.E. altogether temporarily? : What are your recommendations? Thank you. Watch and see how she does during other times during the day. A young kid usually cant' do too much damage to the tendon. You may take her out of PE for a week or so. Have her do some light stretching. It may take a month or so to get 100% better.
