absorbable pins
My wife has had multiple bunionectomies and foot surgeries.
CT and Mri state edema in the Great toe, while others state there is none.
She has had excruciating pain in her feet, and nobody is able to give us definitive answers.
My question is, could the absorbable pins be the cause?
Has anyone had issue with these pins?

I have used Orthosorb absorbable pins for more than 15 years and do not recall this as a complication. If there is a problem it would have to There can be various causes of the pain you describe. You did not indicate when she had her surgery, but if it is recent, then swelling is expected. Has she seen a neurologist?
