Broken Wrist

Back in May 2011 after a fall I broke my left wrist. I was in hospital for a number of days and had to have a plate and 5 screws in my lower arm and wrist. I was back at work laying bricks after 5 weeks before having the plate removed in October. What I would like your advice on is whether it would be too early to go back to playing Rugby Union witch I love to do,also if there is a support to minimise doing any more damage and would it be International Rugby Board approved.

I broke my right wrist on March 9th and had a cast put on March 10th. The cast was taken off on April 28th. When I had the cast on my 3rd and 4th finger had the sensation of being numb. The fingers still feel that way. Is this normalor should I check with my doctor?
