Is there anything I can do with him to ensure that he has no long lasting damage to the tendon/muscle as he is a competition horse and has many years left to compete – he is only 7.

Osgood-Schlatter’s disease

Is it possible for someone in their 50’s to develope this problem.
If not I would like to find information re: muscles around the popliteal causing pain from the back of the knee to the right front below the knee cap, going down along the leg and across the foot to the baby toe.
If he rests, the pain goes away.
When he works (standing all day) the pain increases. Thanks,Nancy

Broken knee cap and no $$$$

I broke my knee cap on April 1 2015. Had surgery on the 7th. It’s now June 12. I can walk without cane but still need knee brace. Swollen and can only bend at 90 degrees. I have no insurance or $$ and cannot afford physical therapy. Can you tell me what sort of physical therapy there is for a broken patella that I can do at home? Please help… I am (was) an avid runner and I am totally depressed about this. It feels like it will never end.
