Dorsal bunion
Dr. Adams, I am scheduled to have surgery to have a dorsal bunion removed n August 20th. I understand that I will have to be in a walking cast for 6 – 8 weeks and was wondering if there are any products available to enable showering during that time. can you recommend anything?

The short answer is yes there are flatfoot surgeries. However you need to be evaluated by someone who does these types of rearfoot surgeries. There are several different types of surgeries depending on the causes.

In theory, both. In actuality it depends on the degree of deformity. These procedures can be extremely beneficial.

Thank you very much for your response. I have one more question. Can or do these surgeries correct the arch and help the actual motion of my feet during walking/running or are they JUST for the pain aspect of flat feet?
