FHL TENDONITIS-extremely painful

I have had FHL tendonitis for almost a year and lately it has been extremely painful…i am a ballet dancer and I know dancing adds to the problem but i was wondering if anyone knew any information on it or ways to heal it….i know i need to rest but i was wondering if there was anything else i could do. Please HELP me, ill be thankful for any information given. I love to dance and this is hurting my heart probably even more than it hurts my foot.
