I would just like to know what the does the medical condition BILATERAL PES PLANUS FASCITITIS means. The reason why I am wondering is the my brother just recently came out of the military and they some how have diagnosed him with this condition to his feet and I would like to know exactly what this means. I also would like to know what can this condition be contributed to and how he can get help with this. Please email me at [email protected]

:I have always had flat feet. Recently, I have started to experience pains under the area usually referred to as the BALL of the feet. I hear all kinds of comments re ORTHOTICS.One person who actually makes them on order from specialists warned me against mass produced inserets which are provided through doctors’orders..i.e. as distinct from when they are specioally made for the individual foot.Grateful for your comments

I was wondering about the fascitis, that is what my doctor said he didn’t give a better explanation to me, but it is a tendon on the left side of my left heel and then across my foot. My doctor had said once that it was tighter than a bowstring and that was causing all of my foot pain. Can you please explain to me what causes this and what are my options to cure it. I am in a cast now and he said that if it wasn’t better in two weeks that I would have surgery. I don’t want the surgery if there is another way to fix the problem. Thank you.
