Fractured Sternum
(3 discussions)
My daughter’s ex-husband hit her several years ago in the chest. According to doctors, it is a fractured sternum.
The doctor prescribed Celebrex for 9 days for her current pain in her chest and difficulty with breathing.
The celebrex helped for a few days and now she stil has the same pain.Is there anything surgically or otherwise that can be done for this? Thanks

She may be a great candidate for manual physical therapy.

At what minimum impact speed in a T-Bone of another vehicle would cause the driver’s seat belt to fracture the sternum of the impacting driver?

I was just looking for some info on a fractured sternum I suffered in a “t-bone” accident, now in litigation, however I couldn’t not find the thread. Were you also in an accident? Just curious to talk to others with same injury.
Thanks, Mary Lou
