Numb left side of right big toe
Recently, the left side of my right big toe has a numb feeling and sometime tingles, like pins and needsles.
It’s the place that an ingrown toenail would hurt, if I had one.
I haven’t worn any “bad” shoes recently, just flip flops and sneakers or really comfortable flats.
Do you think that this requires follow-up?
I have a neurologist that I see for migraines and headaches.
Is he a good option or do I need a podiatrist?
Thanks!!

Certainly, you can see either doctor. The neurologist might be able to differentiate if this is a local nerve problem or it originate further up.
