Sarco illac Torsion & 6 lumbar vertebrae

Hi, im 18 yrs old. I have had lower back pain for years, especially painfull when walking more than 20-30mins. I went to see my GP who didn’t have a clue what was wrong with me and sent me home. So my mother suggested I try seeing an Osteopath- who diagnosed me with Sarco-illac torsion (pelvic bone slipping out of place). This has happened many times over the past few months and i’ve been back to the osteopath regulary & received manipulation treatment to correct the bone. Recently it’s been more muscular aches rather than the pelvis moving. Not long ago my osteopath suggested I have an MRI Scan as my pelvis was slipping nearly every week! The Scan showed that I have 6 lumbar vertebrae. I have had to reduce my hrs at work to part time as I cannot cope with sitting at a desk for more than 3 hrs MAXIMUM, before I am in total agony. The pain comes and goes but is always slightly there. I have tried asking the doc/GP to refer me to a specialist -but the doc doesn’t seem to understand at all and maked out that he didn’t believe me !Please help. Is there anyone I could see e.g. A Chiropractor? Or should I demand for doc to refer me? Thanks.

Posterior Tibial Tendon Rupture

I have seen 2 Podiatrists for a torn posterior tibial tendon (type 2 tear)
I am going in for surgery on June 10th,and was wondering what the recovery rate is approx. for this?
The doctors are doing a tendon fusion, with achilles tendon lengthening, and they’re taking a piece of my heel from the anterior to put on the posterior side.
I have had tarsal tunnel release 2 yrs ago,and they’re going to check for scar tissue also.
I’m just hoping i’m making the correct choice.

lump on botton of foot

After beginning to play basketball again regularly, I have developed very painful, hard lumps on the bottom of each foot.
One has almost disappeared but the other one, located an inch below my second toe, is extremely painful to walk on, particularly in the morning and seems to get bigger. (I can see what looks like a grayish core just beneath the surface of my skin).
I find myself walking with curled toes so as not to put any pressure on that part of my foot at all and this has resulted in a painful stiff ankle and calf.
What is this and how can I get some relief?

Metatarsal stress fracture is not healing

Doctor, I have a stress fracture of the second metatarsal . It’s 3 months old and a month and a half ago I started using crutches since it wasn’t getting better. After two weeks the inflamation stopped and I tried partial weight-bearing, but probably too soon as the inflammation soon returned. After that I’ve been non-weight bearing for 3 weeks and the swelling doesn’t go away this time. My doc says to use the walking boot even if I’m not weight bearing, but when I put it on the foot is pressing against it causing more pain. Should I still do what he says or just keep waiting? He says if it doesn’t get better I’ll need a cast – but wouldn’t my affected bone be pressing against a cast just like against the walking boot? I am so worried because nothing seems to work – any advice?

Ankle

Doctor, I have several question on a non displaced talus fracture. I fell off a chair and was told that I have a non displaced hairline iniar fracture of the talus. I was in a plaster cast for 10 days and evaluated by ortho with x-rays. I was told that the fracture is not displaced on the very recent x-rays and given an air cast as oppose to plaster hard cast. Why? Also if the bone does not appear to be displaced after 10 days is there a chane it may still displace. Also I was told to not bear weight on it for 5 more weeks. After 5 weeks I am supposed to return for more x-rays and if all goes well a walking cast. Will it be painfull to walk at that point? Do these type of injuries cause authritis? Also I have been rading a lot about the necrosis what is that about? Thank You
