scars

I used some corn remover and it worked getting rid of the corns, but it also burned the color off of my toes.
The skin that I put the remover on has no color now.
I no longer wear sandals because of this, how can I get the skin to turn back brown.

Heel Pain

About six months ago, I started wearing orthotics. Last summer, I stopped wearing them and started wearing open heel sandles (because of the heat of the day) I got a sharp, very localised pain at a particular point on the inside of the heel on the left foot after two days. Occasionally stabbing pains up through the ankle occured if I ignored it. It was on the side of the heel, just a milimetre up from the part of the heel that touches the ground when standing still. Walking intensified it, resting eased it. After three weeks complete rest it began to go away. Recovery seemed complete. But a very similar complaint has now reemerged. The pain is somewhat less focused, but still localised. It now feels like I’ve been for a very long walk – the heel ‘aches’. Sharp stabbing pains occur if I don’t rest the foot. Podiatrist speculates nerve damage, no obvious remedial action. I went back to the Orthotics after the two days in the Summer, but after the most recent episode, I give up on them – they seem to have caused the problem. What are my prospects for full recovery?

Ankle clicking

My 16 yr. old son has had a loud clicking in his ankle whenever he walks for about 4-5 years.
It doesn’t hurt him, but it is very bothersome, especially when he walks on stage at school while performing in the choir.
What can be done about it?
Thanks.

weird bump/blister on toe with dark spot in center?

About a week or so ago, I noticed a shiny red bump on the second toe (next to my big toe) of my left foot.
I’m not sure if this is related to it, but I have had what my dr. calls a “blocked oil gland” on my upper thigh about a month ago, which is annoying and tends to come and go. However, two days ago I noticed a dark spot in the center of the bump that seems to have gotten slighter darker and bigger by today. I didn’t have this spot with the blocked oil gland. Do you have any idea what this thing could be?Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

charlie horse in quad

I was playing basketball and got hit hard in my quad muscle. I developed a huge charlie horse in my quad. A couple days later, my leg still still hurt a little, but I played basketball anyway. The day after that, my leg got much worse, and now I can barely bend it to an L position. About how long will it be until my leg gets better, and what’s should I do to help it heal faster?

Knee and calf pain

Hello, I have had ongoing pain in both knees and calves. There was no particular injuries to my legs. I have had 2 arthroscopic surgeries and a partial knee replacement(in right leg) which have not helped with my pain. Both knees hurt about the same. There is a question as the whether or not the pain is coming from my lower back.A MRI shows an assymetric disc bulge at L4-5 and some degenerative changes. There is no evidence of focal disc herniation. What is your opinion on my case ?.Thanks,Lorraine Weeks
