Pain on left foot starting at pinky toe

Hello,

I am new to this forum as well as new to walking/running, I’ve been training for a half-marathon for about 5 months now. Recently I have encorporated running into my walking workouts and have developed a pain on the bottom of my left foot. A few weeks ago my left foot hurt on the bottom but running from my big toe, over my arch to my heal, which I believe was Plantar Fascia. This time the pain seems to run from my pinky toe and down the side of my foot for a few inches. All the pain is on the left side of left foot. Does anybody know what this is or what it is from? I have preety good running shoes and a decent foot arch. It hurts like crazy when I walk normally.

TIA,
Josh
