physical therapy for healing broken ribs?

I had 3 broken ribs(top 3 on the left side). I have completed 6 weeks of healing. Xrays now show one rib is not healing correctly. My doctor is now recommending physical therapy. Is this a correct procedure for the healing of broken ribs? Than you Maureen

hello,my mother was in a car accident and broker the upper three ribs on the left sideof her body.they r still articulated but they are broken. What will hel speed up the healing process and how long will she suffer the pains?how much time will it take for her to completely recover and for the ribs to become strong again?please answer!!!!

I broke 7 ribs in a motorcycle accident over 2 years ago and they still hurt when lifiting weights at the gym…is there any device or exisier to help..some of my ribs are now in 2 pieces
