Shin pain help please – is it shin splints?

Hello

For the last 3 months I have been trying to improve my fitness. Then about a month ago I went out for a run (jog), which I did the 10 min warm up for.. Then when jogging I had to lunge/ jump out of a path of a child. When I made the lunge I landed hard on my left leg, at first it was ok, then about a minute later the inside of my shinbone started to hurt so I walked the rest of the distance.

The pain died down but the pain never left. I carried on playing football and other sports as the pain disappears when doing the activity, but re-appears when I stop and comes back with a vengeance the next day.

The pain is on the inside of my leg about half way up my shin and feels likes it

Could be a stress fracture. You should have this checked out
