  1. : Did you break your collar bone or seperate the AC joint? Some people call that the same thing. Bones/tissue take approximately 6-8 weeks to heal. But after that time they are not as strong as they were before they broke. You need to apply stresses to the joint/bone for it to heal properly, but in a graded, gradual way. Why don’t you ask your doctor if you can see a PT so you don’t cause any further damange. In the meantime, do not raise arm at the shoulder joint more than 90 degrees and for heaven sake don’t do any lifting, pushing or pulling with that arm!!! And yes, go see an ortho doc. Good luck, MyaFOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS MY RIGHT CLAVICLE SEEMS TO BE MORE NOTICIBLE THAN MY LEFT ONE. THIS HAS NEVER BEEN THE CASE BEFORE . I CAN’T REMEMBER INJURING IT. I HAD AN X-RAY AND NOTHING SHOWED. WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE. PEGGY
