Do I need to seek medical attention?

Two nights ago, while out, someone dropped a bar stool on my foot, and the pain was so bad that I passed out. I have been hobbling around, and the foot is slightly swollen with very light bruising. I am concerned because the toe next to my pinky is turning light blue. I haven’t gone for X-rays, because I’m not sure if it’s necessary. My toes feel stiff, and it hurts badly when I try to bend them upwards, but here is little pain when I’m not walking or moving the foot. Do you think something that requires a doctor’s attention/x-rays?
