Fracture Left Lateral Malleolus
I fractured my left lateral malleolus eight weeks ago and have been in a cast. The bone is in situ and has not moved in the eight weeks.
The cast was removed and an x-ray taken to assess extent of healing.
Little or no healing has occurred.
Can you explain why the bone has not healed?

I have not seen or examined you, so it is difficult to give you an exact answer. There are several posibilities- your age, activity, health, immobilization compliance. Sometimes things do not seem to progress on x-ray commensurate with the clinical findings
