Lumbar spine

Ihave disc bulging and facet joint arthrosis present creating bilateral foraminal enroachment. There is no spinal stenosis. There are degenerative end plate changes present at L5-S1. There is diffuse bulging of the interverebral disc. Will cortizone shots help this or would chiropractic care be a better option.Also what does cortizone shots do. Are they harmful. If I did chiropractic care what percentage of sucsess could I expect.
