Info. pleaseI had rotor cuff surgery, 3 mos. ago, I have been to rehab. I some time will have pain in the sholder, my Dr. say’s its scar tissue. will the pain eventualy go away? Bill

dr. suggests surgery september 12th. SOUNDS LIKE I WILL BE LAID UP FOR 4 WEEKS. I DON’T WANT ASSISTED LIVING BUT LOOKS LIKE I MUST. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

I have severe shoulder pain that goes down my arm.Does that sound like a roto cuff problem? If it is – is it better do try surgery or leave it alone as long as I can live with it. The pain isn’t constant

I am having surgery the 24th of May, My surgeon wants to try a new technique called the zimmer patch. Has anyone any knowledge of this procedure. Has anyone had it done and what am I facing.

My dad is scheduled for rotor cuff surgery. they are replacing the ball. Doc says that he will relieve the pain but dad will not have any increase in movemnent such as raising the arm over head. Dad is 92 and we are questioning whether the surgery is a high risk for him and if he will gain enough benefit to have it. Thanks Norm

Can the rotocuff be repaired more than once? Had it repair about 12 years ago. Did not do anything strenuous.Just moved the arm and did not pick up anything heighy. What do you suggestThank you Barb

Have MRI which shows rotorcuff tear. Pain when raising arm is only moderate and I can sleep on that side for an hour or two without discomfort. If anyone has had similar experience would like to hear your opinion or post operative results. Since post operative recovery can be lengthly and painful I obviously am looking for possible other solutions such as a shot of cortisone? Thank you.

2 rotor cuff surgery in one year . 4months later I’m still just like I was. Had fce test failed it. Will it always be like this or do I have permant never and tendon damage. My shoukder has knots o it and bulged out. thank you please let me know somethinng

I had rotor cuff surgury along with removing a spur and repairing a muscle, that was 3 months ago I am in just as much pain as post op. I still can not lay down without pain

I have 2 partial roto-cuff tears on left shoulder. MRI shows arthritis is also present where tears are. Can surgery be performed to correct this problem to sew back the partial tears to heal?
