Shins
Hi I’ve been playing sports for 3 1/2 years now have always had shin splints. I ice them every time I can which is just about everyday. Well it seems that the icing doesn’t work and I have heard about diffferent ways to tape them. If you could email me a way to tape them I would really appreciate it. Thank You, Melinda

Shin splints can have several different causes, ranging from inadequate shock absorption to a a foot that either pronates or supinates too much. Stress fracture of the tibia is another possibility. As far as taping goes, I can't be sure that is the answer. I recommend you see a podiatrist or orthopedist who treats athletes with foot and leg problems.
