RIB PROBLEMS!
Hello, I am a 24 year old runner and mountain biker who has recently gotten into touch rugby.
Ironically, I smashed into a player during a game and hurt my ribs.
The pain directly on the left side of my body (not in front) and about 2/3 of the way up the cage.
It hurts when I sneeze, cough and breathe deeply and the pain has been following a cycle of getting better and worse over the past 3 weeks.
I have continued running and mountain biking which may be aggravating it.
My question is: should I be seeking medical advice or is this just a waiting game? Also, is continuing with sports going to prolong this injury to a great degree? Thanks a lot!

BUT....pain with breathing and sneezing is not normal. I say you go to a doc and have it looked at. Put your sports on hold for now till you get a definitive diagnosis.
