Numbness in toes
(3 discussions)
Several months ago, I had a broken ankle and a plate with 2 long screws and one short one was put in and the foot put in cast.Since the cast came off.
I have had numb toes.
Is this common or could I have nerve or circulation problems.

I will assume you did not discuss this with your doctor, although that is where your answer should come from. In general an injury that you had can cause a nerve entrapment. Without an examination, I can't elaborate. You should see your doctor.

Good Morning, For the last several months I have experienced “tingling ” in my toes. It began with one and has passed to two on the left foot. This week I noticed a new toe on the right foot. Do I have circulation problems, neurology concerns? I do have a history of diabetes in my family. Thank you,Connie Weeks
