Ankle pain
I recently was told by my Dr. that I have a bunion in my foot..and the pain will come and go. First the pain was in my arch in my left foot…now when I walk I get a sharp pain in my inner left ankle and can’t walk on it without extreme pain. I get a stabbing sensation and then it goes away. I would be walking normally and then it would come back. Any help would be appreciatedMargaret

I am not clear how a bunion can cause the pain you describe. One of several causes of pain in the area you describe can be a tendonitis or even a nerve entrapment. I recommend you see a podiatrist for further evaluation.
