How long will it be swollen
Is anyone able to tell me how long I should expect my toe to remain swollen with a fracture.
Its been two weeks now since I fractured the toe, I am getting around on it without any real problem, a little tender at times and have to be careful, but no problems.BUT the toe is still very swollen, and seems to get sore from the swelling.Xray shows a small non displaced fracture in the proximal phalanx of the big toe. Do you think I have done something more to it than just a fracture?

When you state You sound as if that isn't enough to cause this. It is for sure and it will take a few more weeks for the swelling to subside. It depends on your health and activity level. Fractures do not heal quickly when they are continuously in motion.
