My boyfriend broke his left clavicle in a bicycle accident about 5 years ago. He still has trouble sleeping at night due to the discomfort from this previouse injury.Need advice.

Hi, my son broke his clavical 11-2-03The Dr explained to me that a “lump” would appear over the injury and not to be alarmed because it is bone. New bone forms there and over time it will work its way into the bone to fuse it and create new bone growth

I broke my clavical 8 weeks ago,the pain is gone but the sharp edge of the bone still feels like it is going to poke out of my skin. It looks nasty and my doctor says there is nothing that can be done for me.Is this thrue and will the lump go away?please help

I would go ahead with the surgery. I have had two collar bone breaks so far and I am only 18. I broke it the second time one year after the initial break because it was a bad joint. You want to make sure it heals right because I have to go into surgery in a couple weeks because mine dislocates and pops in and out of it’s joint.
