Foot pain, more severe in the morning

Dear Dr AbramsI was searching the web and I found your forum, I would apreciate any reply to my issue.For the last couple of months my husband has been complaining of foot pain when he gets out of bed in the morning. He limps for a couple of meters until the pain allows him to walk straight, and it seems to be getting more intense week after week. He now feels also some pain (less severe) every time he stands after a while seating. Looking at other similar questions you received I noticed you asked where was the pain, he told me the pain is internal, at the palm of his feet. What could be happening with him?
