Jumpers Knee

hi. about 6 months ago my right knee started to bother me. I go alot of heavy lifting and do alot of running.

When the pain started i figured i would just walk it off. though it never really went away.

A bit over a month ago i noticed that my knee makes a crunching sound when i stand up after i have been bending down, or if i flex my calf muscles and bend my leg.

Going to the clinic the doctor said it was inflamation of the tendons and told me to take anti inflammatories.

looking up inflamation of the tendons online, jumpers knee is mentioned alot.

Is the crunching sound consistant with jumpers knee?

If not, any idea what is?

this is how it was explained to me…. there is a lil sack in there between both bones that make it glide when bending so the u dont have bone on bone grinding. maybe yours (sack) is damaged or in the wrong spot. i know my knee hurts and determined to fight this or find something to make it feel better.
