Crushed big toe nail matrix/nail bed with weak nail growth
My big toe nail was crushed about +10 years ago.
Although the nail appears to be in one piece, the nail growth is now brittle with three vertical disjoints, I have to maintain the nail really short otherwise as the nail grow in length, the cracks down these disjoints travels deep to the nail bed causing some pain/discomfort.
What options do I have available?

The options are quite limited. Generally once the root of the nail (which is where it grows from) is damaged, that is permanent. I have recommended trying Appearex which is Biotin ( a B vitamin) It is available over the counter. You can learn more about it by typing Appearex in a search engine like Google.
