Speed work post injury?
I am recovering from both hip flexor and hamstring injuries. I was running 35-40 miles/week pre-injury, and am trying to build up again for a half marathon.
I want to do some speedwork. Trying to decide which would be less stressful – short intervals (200/400/600) or longer (800/1200/1600). Shorter duration at higher pace or longer duration? Which would be less stressful?
Thanks.
