torn plantar tendon
I have been diagnosed with a torn plantar tendon in the left calf. I was wondering if there is a course of physical therapy that would expedite healing. Second are there any aerobic exercises that I could do that would not aggrevate this problem.
Thank you very much

Think about it...if you have a torn tendon the last thing you want to do is vigorously exercise the leg...thereby delaying healing. You require a gradual return to activity. Why don't you ask your doctor if you could have a couple of sessions of therapy so you can get evaluated and they can suggest some exercises and aerobic activity without causing further injury or delay healing.
