Buttock ache!

(3 discussions)

I always seem to be getting injuries from running – the latest being an ache on what feels like a bone in my left buttock. It hurts even when I walk, and it also hurts if I press on it. It is slightly to the left of my left buttock, and I’m very cautious about exercising on it, because I’ve had so many previous injuries! Are there any stretches or rehabilitation exercises that I can do, and is it safe to run/brisk walk on it still? I would be very grateful to hear from anyone for any advice or similar experiences.

I have the same thing and my upper left leg hurts too. I was wondering what is wrong and what i can do to help it.

Sounds like a tendon problem where the hamstring attaches at the top of the leg.I’ve got something similar and have been advised stretching/massage and ice…

deep message therapy! I could show you better than I could explain how to do it.
