Middle of heel goes bump, bump, bump

Most of house is carpeted. I was at my Mom’s house the other day, took off my shoes, and stepped onto the linoleum. My right heel fell on the floor as normal, but my left heel felt like it rolled over a bone in the center of my heel. It kinda hurts. My foot used to hurt in the morning for awhile, then it quit and I moved on. No, I don’t really remember any major injury to my left leg. However…if you know what the rest of my body was like….

And you should know that I have to put a lot of impact on that left leg over the last three years because of back and right leg problems that you really don’t want to know about (beyond Degenerative Disc Disease).

The back of my left leg looks a little funny….the ligament above my heel looks weird….like it goes off to the right, then stops, then there’s this odd bruise\depression thing right at the end of it. It’s weird.

So…Does anyone have any ideas as to what in the world this is?
