Hamstrings – trigger points

can anyone help or know anyone in south london who can help?

for the last couple of years i have not been able to do any sort of exercise without the trigger points in my hamstring tightening up a few hours after exercise – this lasts for two or three days and the hamstring feels fine until i next do exercise. sometimes it is my right hamstring, sometimes the left – but never both together. I have been to two or three traditional physios who have not been able to cure it. Any ideas?

Pain in top of ankle, bottom of shin after rugby

Whilst playing rugby on Saturday I felt no pain but as i cooled down over the next few hours my upper ankle/lower shin became quite tender

I did the usual icing thing but now am just wondering what could be wrong and what action i should/shouldn’t take

It was my first game back after the closed season so that might have had something to do with my susceptability to an injury

The pain i am feeling is about 4 inches abover the bone on the outside of my ankle and roughly equidistant between the front and outside of my ankle (hope that makes sense)

The pain is low when sitting at rest, moderate to the touch and is most severe when im up on the ball of my left foot leaning in 9 o’clock direction

Any information would be GREATLY appreciated as I have training tomorrow and thursday and need to know whether strapping would be a sufficient fix for then

Cheers

Jon

Severe Knee pain

Hope someone can help with this.
Problem is a Sudden onset of knee pain when walking to the point that I can only walk about 200m before having to pull up. No pain when sitting bending, or going up down stairs getting up moving from side to side, but as soon as I start walking the pain builds to point that I have to stop and this takes as I said about 200m. No history of knee pain before this and no obvious injury happened. any ideas anyone?

Type of Massage Treatment for Shoulder Ext Rotators?

Hi

Can someone offer me some advice please?

I have tight ext rotators of the shoulder on one side (shortened). What would be a good type of massage to have to help lenghten it (in conjunction with conventional stretching exercises)?

Many thanks

Hip/Lower Back

I have had pain in my hip and low back for some time. I first noticd it after several months of running. It only occurs on my right side. It usually begins in my hip and if I continue to aggravate it it moves up to my lower back right above the hip bone.

I stopped long-distance running and began lifting weights again. No problems but recently squats and deadlifts began bothering it again.

Any ideas.

Chronic back pain from rowing

I’ve been rowing for five years now and have had upper back pain for most of that time. The pain has progressed into my neck and now I am told my left rotator cuff is pretty much done and my scapula is out of place. As a sophomore in college at a D1 school, leaving the sport is not really an option. Is there anything I can do?
